The Brief

The brief was to create a relaxing entertaining space for 6-8 people that could be used for coffee and reading the papers during the day and be transferred into an atmospheric room for drinks in the evening. The space has a beautiful vaulted ceiling, a double height window overlooking mature gardens, a large fireplace and plenty of period features.

We took inspiration from the garden and the clients art collection to design a scheme which connects both inside and out and will work well in both the day and evening.
