Tania
As founder of Tania Davies Interior Design her passion is to create elegant, joyful and inspiring spaces that function beautifully and feel like home. Through her in-depth training at the Internationally renowned Inchbald School of Design, she leverages the tools of spatial design, light, colour, pattern, and texture to create interiors that are unique, considered and personally tailored.
Her inspiration comes from a myriad of sources from art to architecture and she works sympathetically with both period and contemporary properties, understanding their history and setting in the landscape. On top of this she layers the client’s style & lifestyle. The result are spaces which are relaxed, elegant, colourful and inspiring, fit for contemporary living.
Living and working in the Cotswold’s, one of her favourite parts of the design process is sourcing beautiful artisan crafted pieces. She loves to introduce clients to local artists and crafts people helping them to find or commission the perfect bespoke piece to complete their design.
Extensive business skills acquired in a prior life in Commercial management and analysis help ensure the smooth running of her projects.
Our design philosophy
We design and deliver highly considered, artisan-led interiors. We are experts in using the tools of colour and texture to create atmosphere and use art and hand-crafted pieces to bring a depth of authenticity to our designs. Combined these create spaces that feel elegant, interesting and unique.
The client, the property and the location are central to the design. Our in-depth design process is initiated with a detailed conversation to understand our clients’ requirements and lifestyle. This is then considered within the context of the building’s history and location. The strands are then combined to create an effortless design which has a sense of place and will feel reassuringly familiar to the client.
